Hanmer Springs Photos

Hello everyone! I recently got back from our wee stay in the lovely hanmer springs. These holidays have been packed with great hikes, delish food and lots of chillaxing. As you may know I just got my new Nikon D3200 camera for my birthday so I brought it with mee and took a few snaps. Ok, maybe just a little bit more than a few haha! The bach where we stayed was hidden away in the amazing forestry but still not too far away from town. I found some cute little boutiques but sadly left my (empty) purse at home! Hope you enjoy these photos. xx

(Oh yea, we hired little 'miss molly' and rode arount the town
looking like strange weirdos! Lotsa fun though!

September lurves

Hello!
This week has been packed with exciting things and plans. As October rolls around, leaving September in the dust, so does another 'favourites' post. Now, I love doing these because my style is forever changing and it's great to go back and see how my style has changed. So hopefully you enjoy this post and it inspires you! Also to leave on an exiting note is that I'm going away for a couple a days so I hope I will have some great photography opportunities! Enjoy your last week of hol's kiwis!
(*disclaimer, all of these photos aren't my own and all credit goes to the rightful owners. I sourced most of these off Pinterest and the Internet.)

  1.  Wild flowers. These feel like the precious little flowers on earth right now! Forget roses give me a bunch of wildflowers! Luckily enough for me I have a huge wattle tree just down the road which I pick my weekly bunch from.
  2. Black and white faces. (With shadows too!) I just love love these images I found! I'm not sure the true reason I just raaaaaahhh love it!!!
  3. French vibes. That classic red lip with the black bob and beret just is making my scream! I absolutely adore that French vibe as well as the language and accent! I have learnt a couple of words haha although I sound pretty terrible haha! 'Allons - nous en?
  4. Blush pink and that half mustard - half hazelnut colour. Argh I just want to be surrounded by this colour. Also can I mention how cute is that pink top??
  5. Aesop resurrection hand cream. In fact pretty much everything Aesop. I just love when the tubes get all wrinkly and crinkled they just look so cute. An aesop store has recently opened in nz but sad enough I would have to go on a plane to get to it! *sigh
Oh and I also forgot to mention these mugs on my list -
I totally wouldn't mind drinking my morning tea out of these either

And to finish this post up below is my September tunes playlist. These are all the songs I have always loved or ones that I have recently discovered. Have a listen and tell me you thoughts! Catch you on the flip side!

'Hello Greta' Blog Interview

Hello again!

A couple of weeks ago I was luckily enough to get in touch with one of my favourite bloggers Greta! You can visit and follow her blog here.  Greta is so lovely and I really recommend checking her blog out if you haven't! Anyway, I asked her a couple of questions and she kindly answered so I have them here to share with you! Here goes,

Who/what inspires you?
Lots of things! Pinterest is a great place to gather all my inspiration and ideas, but my main source has to be definitely the things around me like my friends, family, nature and the places I visit. I definitely have times where I feel flat and uninspired, and it's hard to point out or find inspiration when I feel like I need it most. It takes time, but it springs at me when I least expect it.

Five Facts about you:

  1. I drink way to much tea
  2. Greece, Japan. Mexico, Cuba and Finland are up there in my top places to visit next.
  3. I love love love man buns. Weird, I know.
  4. I take any opportunity to go out opp shopping.
  5. I am obsessed with re-designing and changing up my room.
Top three blogging items:
Definitely my Mac computer, iPhone and a pretty notebook to write down all my ideas.

Favourite reads?
Now, I'm not much of a book reader to be honest ( shock!! ) although I'm getting better at it. I love reading Frankie when I get the time too, definitely the most inspiring and best magazine out there.

Describe your fashion style to me in three words:
A mix of Minimalistic, colour and a splash of retro. ( I know it's not really 3 words but this question is super hard! )

Plans for the future?
Currently my plans are to continue to pursue writing and creating things to share on my blog, work towards getting my dream job and to be able to travel a lot more countries.

Favourite foods?
Sushi, but I also love chai lattes, acai bowls, pomegranate, mango, dumplings, frozen yogurt, matcha green tea, hash browns, watermelon, mushrooms, ice cream, creme caramel, banana bread and many other foods of course!

Favourite experience being a blogger (so far!)
Definitely when I got the chance to be apart of the skincare brand, Girl Lane and participate in the campaign, attend a full-day photoshoot and meet a whole lot more bloggers through the process.

Anddddddd, your dream job!
I'm not quite sure yet on this one, but something along the lines of Interior and Graphic design as well as photography.

Thankyou, Greta xx
